We are happy to announce that in addition to the 4 female laid-off workers from Changchun recruited by Catalyst Foundation earlier this year, we have further recruited 2 women from Dalian. Same as the 4 female workers in Changchun, these 2 are also laid-off employees of state-owned enterprises. One of them is suffering from heart problem and had a surgery a year ago. Due to the high medical costs, she is now heavily indebted. The other woman is now supporting her family of three with a minimial wage earned from working as a maid. Each of them has less
than US$1.00 to live on per day. Any help you may offer to them will be greatly appreciated.

Towards the end of this hot summer, Catalyst Foundation is going to launch 50 new products with impressive designs for your beloved children and dogs.These are ideal gifts for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Furthermore, a series of home accessories will also be introduced. All these 50 items are hand-made by our Catalyst women. Every penny you spend purchasing these products made by these disadvantaged women will not only generate income for these helpless women and their children, but will also help them to become financially independent and regain their long lost identities!
